Hahahs..soo I'm baaaack from outer space!! And yea.. the hols is coming to an END!!!

Back to all the mundane shit things that we have to do.. AKA : Studying.. I kinda feel the pressure already.. My tuition has started and there's this THING looming ahead in front of US - next year..

YES ITS THE 'O's !!!

Bloody hell.. I don't know how I'm going to cope.. My schedule as to this date is 75 % filled up to the brim and I don't wanna take responsibility just yet. It feels like I have not enjoyed my hols fully.. Strange...Anyways.. let's reminisce about my HOLS!

I spent 10 freaking days in... INDO doing nothing much really.. here are some photo updates :











It was pretty sastifying over then in Indo.. everything was dirt cheap but what I LOVED about the country was the food... And cheap clothings and shoes.. The food there is a DREAM.. Everything is delicious even the road-side food.My favourite was the Baso.. [Meatballs ]
Which was beyond wonderful.. it was super savory and the meatballs were FRESH and springy.

We went to this really chic restaurant with our host family.. It's called Bumbu Desa and the food there is to die for!

It was really splendid.. But one of the interesting thing I ate there was.. PEMPEK
At first I was really curious about what the living heck pempek was.. Everyone there was like : "Ooh.. pempek.. Yea it's nice.." I was kinda sceptical at first.. Cos the name sounds so.. weird. All kind of things came to mind.. Like tofu, some sort of animal, rice or something.. but it never occured to me that PEMPEK is actually THIS :



It is kinda like the Singapore version of Yong Tau Foo (minus the noodles) which is THIS: Picture from

It was really nice and all...You have some special sauces to put on it or you could eat it dry.. But whatever it is.. It's really nice. The super big piece of Pempek contains egg in it.. And it was DELISH!

But the minus point of being in Jakarta was the 1) Weather and 2) The streets. The waether if it's possible - is WAY hotter than in Singapore. I could feel my brain frying in my skull and I suffered from migraines due to the heat. And the roads is.. Hmm.. Simply.. Challenging. (And THAT is putting it lightly) People are jaywalking all over the place and people aren't driving in thier lanes! The jams are legendary and if you get stuck in one- pray hard that the air-con wont break down.


You have people selling stuffs on the roads.. From newspaper (like the kid above) to crackers (which they are HUGE on) and even toys. It was really interesting to see how they make a living over there in Jakarta.. But at the same time, the roads are pretty scary.

So after I got back from Indo.. I managed to attend a concert held by MI just in time for Christmas. (BTW Christmas is just 2 days away ya'all! WOOO!)

Time does pass us by quickly.. And I'm really thankful for what I have now. Bless (:

ANYWAYS! I have loooads of things to plan for.. Since Jan is coming.. I have the seniors going-away party.. Which is coming VERY soon and... I also have the Sec One orientation to plan for.. OMG.. I could feel the stress mounting!! GAAAAH! How could people cope ??? O.O

I guess that's about it for todays update. I'll update soon enough. LOVES!
